wool abstracts

These wool abstracts are predominantly inspired by Aboriginal art with some being inspired by abstract quilts. They are created using wool roving and a method known as needlefelting. The knots in some of the pieces are my version of Aboriginal dot painting.

Each piece is framed in a 9x9” black shadow box with a 5x5” matte opening.
